OS9 in comparison can't even multitask properly. I can't upgrade RAM anymore? Fuck off! Main reason why I do all my music work on my custom PC at home - sheer CPU grunt and loads of RAM. I hate how limited and borked their computers are too. It's still shit in file management and 3D applications though, and I don't see the benefit of it when it comes to audio/video applications. There has been so many UI/UX improvements with it over the years, especially with its built in automation, that I exclusively use it at work. What is QEMU for Windows - PPC emulator, runs Mac OS 9.1, 9.2 + OSX 10.0 to 10. It is an emulator program that emulates an IBM PC compatible PC running a DOS OS. It primarily focuses on running the DOS games. Ironically it's one of the few OSes that is the closest we can get to a modern Unix, to the point it can natively compile cross-platform Unix applications without issue. DOSBox is an open source DOS emulator for the Windows, OS/2, MAC OS X, Linux & the BeOS.
